This is an exceptional way to convert every day purchase decisions into significant support for the Food Bank throughout the entire year.
“We are thrilled to partner with PS It Matters to help ensure food for Mainers in need,” said Christine Force, VP for Fund Development at Good Shepherd Food Bank. “There are more than 200,000 people in Maine who are struggling with hunger, including one out of every four Maine children. This is a problem that affects every county in the state and will take every community to be involved in the solution. Creative opportunities like this help us raise awareness about the need and at the same time support the many Maine businesses that have products featured online with PS It Matters.”
PS It Matters offers more than 250 specialty food items and unique gifts from talented regional producers, dealing only with sources that are capable of providing top quality products. Through this initiative, Good Shepherd Food Bank will be encouraging donors, volunteers, corporations and friends to shop at PS It Matters.com.
