Apple Corps Honors Food Bank Volunteers
Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine is proud to announce Apple Corps, a new volunteer recognition program honoring volunteers for their service to the Food Bank. The recognition program was created to highlight dedicated Food Bank volunteers, recognize volunteer leaders, and support Food Bank ambassadors. Apple Corps has three levels designated by hourly milestones:
- Cortland – donating over 100 hours in one year
- McIntosh – donating over 200 hours in one year
- JoAnn Pike Volunteer Service Award – honors volunteers who have volunteered 500+ hours of their time

Good Shepherd Food Bank also welcomes the first Apple Corps Ambassador, Misty Coolidge. She is immersing herself in the Feeding America community, educating others on food insecurity, and sharing her journey through a series of blog and social media posts.
