Stamp Out Hunger, May 9
Join Americans across the country in the largest single-day food drive: Stamp out Hunger on Saturday, May 9! Created by the National Association of Letter Carriers, Stamp out Hunger collected more than 73 million pounds of food last year for those in need.
It’s easy to get involved. Just place bags filled with nonperishable food items next to your mailbox, and your letter carrier will pick them up for delivery to local food banks, including Good Shepherd Food-Bank. Suggested items to donate include canned meats and fish, canned vegetables, canned soup, peanut butter, juice, pasta, cereal, and rice.
