Morong Falmouth Helps to Feed Hungry Mainers

Throughout the months of November and December, Morong Falmouth committed to donate $100 to Good Shepherd Food-Bank for every car sold. Morong Falmouth employees and customers were also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help “Stuff the Bus” located in the lobby of the dealership.

On December 19, Morong Falmouth presented Rick Small, executive director of the Food-Bank, with a check for $7,200 along with 460 pounds of food. “With over 13 percent of Mainers experiencing food insecurity, it is vital that we have the support of local businesses to complete our mission of feeding Maine’s hungry,” commented Small. “The generous donation from Morong Falmouth will help to make a difference in the lives of many this winter by helping to provide over 57,000 meals to those in need.”

Thank you to Morong Falmouth and those who stopped by to make a donation for making this event a huge success!
