No One Should Go Hungry In Maine

Schools Out! For many kids, summertime is not fun in the sun... but long months of not enough to eat.

They won't be getting lunch at school this summer

During the school year, 69,000 school children throughout Maine have access to free or subsidized breakfast and lunch. But when the school year ends, so do the healthy meals that are such an important part of their day -- and diet. Good Shepherd Food-Bank is working hard to provide food for these children through summertime feeding programs in Maine communities statewide.

With your help this summer, Maine kids can take a vacation from hunger.
