Typically Downeast Mortgage Corporation and Homeowners Assistance Corporation have spent a great deal of money on a Christmas party for our 85 employees. This year, we thought the more responsible act of kindness would be to make a donation of funds to Good Shepherd Food-Bank.
After learning more about Good Shepherd Food-Bank, and your mission of providing an abundance of food to so many sources and agencies within Maine, it was an easy decision to support your cause.
We are pleased to offer $500 to Good Shepherd Food-Bank and pleasingly surprised to learn that these funds will be able to provide $6,250 worth of food for hundreds of families who reside in Maine.
