Volunteer Groups

Volunteer groups consist of five or more individuals and are the foundation of our volunteer program. Hundreds of businesses, faith based groups, social clubs, service organizations, schools and youth groups come together to make a difference in the fight against hunger by volunteering at Good Shepherd Food Bank.

Whether you are looking for a field trip for your students, a team-building opportunity for your co-workers, or an active and meaningful way to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, we can accommodate your needs.

Working together, volunteer groups will handle millions of pounds of food this year that will be distributed to hunger-relief agencies across the state. Thank you for your interest in bringing a group to help with this important work...because no one should go hungry in Maine.
