Community Service Volunteers
Thank you for considering volunteering at Good Shepherd Food Bank to complete your court directed community service. Please contact us to discuss your needs and availability by calling Tia Harris at (207) 782-3554 or emailing tharris@gsfb.org.
Guidelines For Court-Directed Volunteers
- Good Shepherd Food Bank does not guarantee that court ordered volunteers will be able to complete their community service at our organization. Volunteers must apply with the Volunteer Coordinator and will be accepted on a case by case basis.
- Community service volunteers must track their hours served with a time card and punch clock upstairs. The Volunteer Coordinator will show you the punch clock system during your orientation.
- It is the responsibility of the volunteer to let us know once mandated service hours are completed.
- Shifts may end early depending on warehouse work load; however we are only able to provide credit for actual hours worked.
